Sarah, I think you would like fellow Christian Martine de Luna’s work @femininewomanhood

I fully feel & respect what you are conveying here but also feel like there lacks a sense of the JOY that is the Woman’s role 💖 sending you all the love!

Like yeah we don’t do our husband’s role but what do we do!?

Funny how the prolapse started it all huh? I’m so deep now in this remembrance, but have gotten here without the physical huge STOP sign ⚡️

Are you saying I sound like I’m lacking joy or there is an overall lack of joy around women’s work being conveyed in our culture?

If it’s the ladder, I agree with you.

My heart aches over the fact that women are brainwashed to only find meaning in work that isn’t meant for them, all the while missing how satisfying it is to truly be in the center of God’s plan for their lives, raising their babies and caring for their husbands doing humbling but essential work.

But there has been decades of programming done to many women telling them that their gifts are worthless and they should behave as men in society to have value, regardless of what they have been called by the Lord to do.

For many women, it is not initially a joyous thing to submit to their husbands, to do the humble work of tending the home, raising kids or whatever it is God is calling them to.

For them the joy comes AFTER a heart conversion. While joy is an outgrowth of obedience to the Lord, elevating it above obedience can lead women to sin because sometimes what brings us joy during certain season of our life, is wrong.

So I’m more of the “do it because it’s right and because it’s right it will eventually give way to the supernatural and unparalleled joy that comes from being in alignment with our Father who gives us new eyes and hearts to see and value that which is most important,” type of gal.
