This reminds me of when I went on a rampage to make our home nontoxic. It was a huge shift from what we were used to… who knew that nontoxic, non-lathering dish soap would be such a big change. 😂 But I learned (the hard way) that my approach was all wrong, and that just because I feel passionate about something doesn’t mean my husband is ready, or that we can tolerate changing everything at once. I was so stressed.

Lol. That reminds me of the Really Very Crunchy lady who teaches “how to remove toxins from your life without adding them to your personality”. 😂 I think like everything else in life, going slow and listening to the waves and rhythm of life rather than always forging ahead actually gets us where we truly want to go.
But we’ve been trained to “do it all now,” “push through” and white knuckle everything in life so it’s become our default.
