Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
Romans 12:1
A gentle and encouraging reminder to all the wise women that using your gifts doesn’t have to mean “monetizing” your gifts.
A skill you do in secret as a service to someone is just as valuable as one “seen” by others.
You have skills and gifts and attributes to better, nurture and love your family and community.
Value them. Use them even if your audience is just your husband, your child, a neighbor…
humbly using our skills, gifts and bodies to worship God in the service of others or simply in the expression of our gifts as a reflection of our Creator does not guarantee “success” as the world measures it, but it does guarantee His good pleasure.
